Looking to have waterfront access but not necessarily live on the water? One option is to have access through a community asset like the Laurelhurst Beach Club. Laurelhurst residents who live within the club boundaries (south of NE 50th) are eligible (not required) to join the private, neighborhood club. The Laurelhurst Beach Club, opened June through September, is aptly name since it is a beach club located on the shores of Lake Washington in the Laurelhurst neighborhood. The club features a beautiful beach, dock with diving boards, swimming area with life guards on duty, ping pong, volleyball court, picnic area with tables and barbeques and a large grass area. In addition, sailing lessons are offered and moorage is also available for smaller boats on a limited basis.
